Goose
This design is made from nine square tiles made from plywood. The border
of each tile is painted black. The background is also painted black.
The border is made from 1x4 inch wood.
The design was made by cutting and bending a coat hanger wire to form the shape
of the lines. The wire material was then taped to the blocks. I took a
hammer and hit the wire so it would make an indentation into the wood. Each
tile was then stained with a dark and light color. Each tile was then glued
and screwed to the backing. There is a quarter's width between each tile.
It is not intended to line up perfectly, this is to emphasize the fact that
they are made from different tiles.
